The Curiosity of the Gospel of John

” but these have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you may have life in His name.”
John 20 : 31. (NASB)

Above is the purpose of the Gospel of John. It states that it was written so that you may believe in Jesus, however why do so many ignore this simple book in the bible. It never says to repent, or promise to stop sinning, my goodness it doesn’t even say “why you gotta get a person lost before he can be saved” like so many pastors say. Of course I’m not saying you should never mention sin but realize that Jesus Christ is the main Issue not sin.

In the coming weeks and months we will look at the free offer of the Gospel or good news with out apology it is a FREE gift nothing before during or after salvation no strings attached. lets look in John 11: 25-27 (NASB)

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies, and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?” She said to Him, “Yes Lord; I have believed that You are the Christ, the Son of God, even He who comes into the world.”

That’s the gospel simply believe why do we confuse is because we want to have a little something to pat ourselves on the back or maybe you listen to some wicked pastor say faith is alone true but you have to do works to show that it’s was real, who’s to judge, the pastor? No we have a lot of work to do to get this right so please leave a comment a question even if your mad at me that’s OK I’ve got broad shoulders God gave them to me to take it so come on lets do it. Don’t be afraid lets hash this out learn the gospel and share it with others with confidence.

Pardon My Absence

Last June I was very sick, came close to dying as a matter of fact. My family came to say good buy, yeah it was a bad situation.

I started this blog towards the end of recuperating. When I got home I found myself permanently damaged and in a wheelchair. This is fine, I trust God, for now, I’m unable to get out and share the faith I think I will in time. However, I still share and teach the faith to those who take care of me as I’m unable to take care of myself. Again, It’s fine, I trust God and keep moving. I’m not saying its easy picking up and carrying on, it’s not, I’m not going to get into the details, perhaps I will at some point, I must say I feel good and the Lord has blessed me.

Thats all I had to say I will be writing articles, hopefully on regular bases please share this blog with others as I hope this will be prosperous, God bless.

Some Basics

I thought today we would look at a few basics of sharing the gospel. Lets start out with passing out literature such as the gospel of John, tracks and booklets. First we need to know were to get these items.

Gospel of Johns are a great tool to reach people with the good news as we saw last time that’s why the book was written. The best place in my opinion is http://www.livingwater.org/ because living water will send you 10 without charge which I guess would be for the average christian sharing there faith as they go through life, however I’m not that, I hope your not ether because you can get a box of a 100, now we’re talking. Whats great about living water? The box of a 100 is free too.

Wondering about tracks and booklets? The best place is https://www.simplybelief.com/ that’s right simply belief has all your track needs. One can ether print them from the website or buy professionally done ones. They are great from children to adults they have booklets too and some great reads from Lucas Kitchen. He is a great author and bible teacher.

Now we got our literature to pass out how do we do that? What I like to do is place a tract in the gospel of John then go out on the streets, local College or town festivals anything were people are. I say “excuse me may I give you something to think about?” Most of the time they take it, sometimes they ask what it is? Just be honest tell them “Its a gospel of John with a tract in it an they explain how to have eternal life through Christ Jesus” that’s it they take it. I would say 90% of the time people will take the literature sometimes they want to talk right then an my next blog entry will be about that. However, I want to continue with this topic now. That’s in the streets or at a football game or something like that. Talking to a friend or family member is just as easy, ask the friend, lets say his name is Dave, just say something like this ” hey Dave, can I give you something to think about? Be honest, just like in the street, it works! Like I’ve said, we will discuss what to say when they want to talk next post. God bless

Introductions are in order

Christian Evangelism is all our responsibility, however more often than not we screw it up, even well meaning evangelist get it wrong! Its a sad thing but that’s what the world, the devil and his minions, and even self want. We twist and add to the gift of salvation and we all go along until we believe the lie rather the simple grace filled message of the gospel. I’m drawing the line here, no further will we continue down the dark paths of “false gospels”. NO longer will we be tricked. My name is Craig Chambers I’m an Evangelist. I challenge you purveyors of false hood to a battle if you disagree with me tell me so we will discuss it.
